Social Media & Content Assistant
This is an exciting opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who is passionate about social media, content creation, fashion, horses and all things creative. You don’t need years of experience - we’re looking for someone with the right attitude, a good eye for content and a genuine desire to learn and grow with the business.
What you'll be doing
- Helping plan, create and publish content across socials.
- Assisting with filming and photography on shoot days.
- Creating and capturing content around product launches, horses, events, behind-the-scenes moments and day-to-day life at MAYSTON.
- Editing short-form videos, Reels and social content using tools such as CapCut.
- Helping organise and maintain our content calendar.
- Supporting the team with social campaigns and product launches.
- Coming up with fresh ideas for Reels, TikToks, Stories and other social content.
- Ensuring everything we put out feels consistent with the brand.
- Working alongside our Paid Media & Performance Marketing Specialist to create content designed to perform as well as look great.
- Keeping up with social trends and bringing new ideas to the team.
What we're looking for
You don’t need to have worked in a social media role before, but you should have a genuine interest in content creation and ideally some examples of your creativity - whether that’s personal social media content, photography, video projects, college/university work or previous experience.
You’ll ideally have:
- A genuine passion for social media and content creation.
- A good eye for photography, video and visual content.
- Confidence using platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.
- An interest in fashion, lifestyle and the equestrian world.
- A willingness to learn and develop your skills.
- Good organisation and attention to detail.
- Plenty of creative ideas and the confidence to share them.
- A full UK driving licence.
The role
This is an employed, in-house position based at our HQ in Dorchester, Dorset.
Salary dependent on experience
Immediate start available
Travel to shows, events and shoots will be part of the role, including occasional weekend work.
As MAYSTON continues to grow, there will be genuine opportunities to develop your skills, take on more responsibility and progress within the social and marketing team.

Content Creator
Our social media is run entirely from within, and always will be. You’ll work directly alongside our founder, Gemma, and our growing social team, creating the content that carries the brand.
What you'll be doing
- Planning, filming and editing content across social media.
- Working directly alongside our founder on dedicated shoot days.
- Capturing content for both the MAYSTON brand and the founder’s personal social media channels.
- Photographing and filming product launches, horses, behind-the-scenes moments, events and day-to-day life.
- Editing short-form videos, photography and campaign content to a consistently high standard.
- Helping plan content calendars and launch campaigns.
- Bringing fresh creative ideas while ensuring all content reflects the MAYSTON brand.
- Working closely with our Paid Media & Performance Marketing Specialist to create content that not only looks great but delivers results.
This is an employed, in-house role based at our Dorchester HQ. We’re not looking for agencies or freelancers. 30 hours a week, salary dependent on experience, with genuine room to grow as the business does. Previous experience is essential, as is a full UK driving licence. Travel to shows and shoots is part of the role, including some weekend work. Immediate start available.

SHOW TEAM
We’re looking for people who bring the party but know exactly when to roll their sleeves up. It’s fast paced and it’s hard work, and the energy you bring is as much a part of the job as the hours.
You’ll be bringing the atmosphere to the MAYSTON stand at Burghley and Blenheim, before London International Horse Show closes our trade stand year — with more venues joining us next season. Travel is part of it, and so is being on site and ready.
